Stephany began her role in November 2019 as a recent graduate from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where she holds an M.Sc. in Power Engineering. During her studies, she was involved in projects dealing with capacity markets and energy system models. She performed an internship at Siemens AG where she contributed to the proposal of an energy project in El Salvador and wrote her master’s Thesis at the Energy System Modeling Group. Her thesis focused on the development of a standardized approach to model a country’s energy system evolution towards decarbonization. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in electrical engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
